How It Works

In our sessions I use a range of materials and techniques such as painting, clay and collage, while focusing on the process, rather than the result.

Together we can reflect on the experience: what has emerged? What did it feel like? What might it represent?

Art therapy with me can support:

  • emotional expression and regulation

  • processing adverse experiences and trauma

  • reducing anxiety and stress

  • building resilience and coping skills

  • strengthening sense of identity / self-esteem

My Approach

My style integrates art psychotherapy with elements of psycho-education and mindfulness.

I aim to balance gentle guidance with creative freedom, adapting each session to the

  • individual’s/ group needs

  • comfort level

  • context
